CKIDS BRIGADE of
TZIVOS HASHEM

rebbe saluting soldier.webp

Tzivos Hashem, an Army of Good. “By joining Tzivos Hashem, every child becomes a ‘maor’. True, a child is small… but a Jewish child, a boy or a girl, can do great things. He or she can bring light to other Jewish children, and through them, to their parents and their relatives, until the whole world is lit up with the light of Torah and mitzvos” (the Rebbe).

This is the Rebbe’s vision for every single Jewish child, and here at CKids, we are here to help make it happen. The Tzivos Hashem program will work closely with the Hebrew School Curriculum, using the lessons as a foundation for the missions. (Disclaimer: Even if you are not planning on using this year’s CKids curriculum, the Tzivos Hashem program also works as a standalone program.)

HOW IT WORKS

Missions

Every week in Hebrew School, your students will receive new missions to be completed by the following week. Every mission completed will give them points to climb in rank, starting from Private and climbing all the way to 3-star General. For every rank reached, students receive a prize to recognize their achievements. (Reward them by having a mini-weekly ceremony celebrating all students who climbed rank, or a bigger monthly celebration. You can create a certificate and hand out prizes - see below to order.)

Rallies

Once a month at the end of the CKids Hebrew School lesson, there will be a short rally to inspire the children to keep on continuing bringing light into the world. These rallies can also be sent to your parent community so their children can watch it at home.

Magazines

Before every Yom Tov, a Tzivos Hashem magazine will be available for purchase. This magazine is for children to connect with all Jewish children around the world, see what rank other children have reached, learn interesting facts and stories about the upcoming holiday, and find out how Jewish kids in different places of the world live. These can be handed out in Hebrew School, at shul, during clubs, with your Yom Tov deliveries, sent in the mail, or door to door.

5 SIMPLE STEPS
FOR A SUCCESSFUL YEAR

Step 1:

Add all your students to this document, with a separate column for each rank. Private, Sergeant etc. (As students climb rank, they get moved to the next column.)

Step 2:

In the first week of Tzivos HaShem (the second week of Hebrew school), hand out the Trackers to each student and explain how Tzivos Hashem works, using the slideshow at the end of the HS lesson as a guide.

Step 3:

Encourage students to do their mitzvos weekly, and explain the impact that their actions have on the world.

Step 4:

Once students achieve rank, move them up on the Rise to General poster and reward them in front of their peers with a prize, certificate, and words of encouragement.

Step 5:

Throughout the year, keep your students motivated by constant encouragement, watching monthly rallies, and handing out magazines.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Tracker

In the back of the CKids Chumash Shemot, there is a section for Tzivos Hashem missions with all the missions for the year. This is where students will keep track of their points and ranks.

(For students not using the Chumash, there is an option to purchase the Tzivos Hashem missions on its own.)

Mission Cards

These cards will be given to every child to take home so they remember to do their mission(s) throughout the week.

(This is included with the Tracker and Chumash.)

TH Guide Book

You will receive a guide book together with your order. Included in the guide is how Tzivos Hashem works, a list of all the rank prizes, dates of when the rallies and magazines will come out, and an explanation of what Tzivos Hashem is to send to the parents - to keep them in the loop.

(This is included with the Tracker and Chumash.)

Promotions

Every 3-4 weeks, we will collect the names of all your students who have gone up in rank. They will be featured in a short promotions video along with all promoted children from around the world.

Prizes

For every rank, you can purchase a customized prize for each student that has the logo of the rank they were promoted to.

Mivtzah Yom Huledes

This is a sub-package with everything you need to celebrate a Jewish birthday. Included is a customizable birthday video, certificates, cards, and labels.

12 Pesukim Poster

Display the 12 Pesukim in your Chabad House or Hebrew School in a beautiful manner.

Rallies

Rallies will be available before every Yom Tov. These can be shown in Hebrew School or sent out to your parent community for their children to watch at home.

Holiday Magazines

Magazines are sent out five times a year - Tishrei, Chanukah, Purim, Pesach, and the end of the year. They can be easily customized to make it personable for your community or kept generic. In addition, there is an option to have it professionally printed and sent straight to your door.

BUNDLE AND SAVE! Order access to all the magazines for the year and save big! (Deadline is November 12.)

Rise to General Vinyl

We have updated our Rise to General poster! These quality posters are lightweight, easy to tack onto a wall,  and can easily be written on with dry erase markers.

These posters are for students to see which rank they’re holding in regards to their peers. Every rank is in another box, and as they get promoted in rank, their picture gets moved to the next rank.

Holiday Frenzy

Every Yom Tov has a set of missions for students to do over the course of the Yom Tov. Once completed, students enter them online and automatically enter into a raffle for a chance to win some incredible prizes.

NEW! Students do not move up in rank for completing holiday missions.

Trophy

To keep Tzivos Hashem engaging for returning students, we are creating trophies! At the end of the year each student will receive a trophy and certificate designed to the rank they are up to. (A form will be sent out towards the end of the year to fill in all the details.) As the years go on students will build their trophy collection and can proudly display it, which will naturally push them to reach a higher rank next year.
